Built amphitheatrically, with characteristic tiled roofs and wooden porches. that adorn the palaces, craft shops, and churches immersed in the beech and fir woods. And from its 25 stone taps pure and crystalline water flows.

The main square of Metsovo is one of the main tourist attractions with its big trees and the bear monument (Greek: Arkuda).

It is an ideal place to relax for a few days and while away the time visiting the monastery of Agios Nikolaos with its redwood tree, skiing at the Politses ski center, and eating.

You must absolutely try the delicious Metsovone, the famous smoked cheese.
